Every love story they say makes you die deep within, kills a part of you, but does it not leave back something too? Does it not leave back some fond memories? Does it not leave back hope that you'd be one with your lover once again? Reflecting the same sense of belonging are these words, dedicated to you Ina..my love we've always had this connection between us, the connection of the night sky and its eternal symbol the Moon..
I would hold you then, before anyone could take you away,
I’d hold the god’s designs in my other hand, if it would sway!
I promise this would change, things would change one day.
The distances would elope and the cosmos would have nothing to say.

The moon is the bridge, between your life and mine
Thanks to the sun, and the cosmic serpentine;
Everyday I touch the same stars as you do,
Everyday I feel the wind, the wind that touches you!
Thanks to the sun, and the cosmic serpentine;
Everyday I touch the same stars as you do,
Everyday I feel the wind, the wind that touches you!
I thought these were symbols, ornaments of poems and plays,
Today I realize how concrete, how concrete were those days;
When the sun nourishes us both, standing in front of the sea,
When the oceans sprinkled water, on your body and me!
Today I realize how concrete, how concrete were those days;
When the sun nourishes us both, standing in front of the sea,
When the oceans sprinkled water, on your body and me!
When I inhaled the air, incensed with the sweetness of your perfume,
I used to talk to the night, and my heart used to fume;
I miss those days, when I could see you with my own eyes,
and for once hear your laughter, before the light’s demise.
I used to talk to the night, and my heart used to fume;
I miss those days, when I could see you with my own eyes,
and for once hear your laughter, before the light’s demise.
The eclipse continues, separates our nights and days,
Love instills in me the hope, there are still more ways,
Life evolves its mechanisms, there is pleasure and pain,
The destiny would quit one day, allow us to meet up again.
Love instills in me the hope, there are still more ways,
Life evolves its mechanisms, there is pleasure and pain,
The destiny would quit one day, allow us to meet up again.
I’d hold the god’s designs in my other hand, if it would sway!
I promise this would change, things would change one day.
The distances would elope and the cosmos would have nothing to say.
